  • Introduction.
    • Website Owner. Good Energy Group LLC (“Good Energy”) is the owner of the website domain TheGoodEnergyGroup.com (the “Website”). Good Energy can be contacted by mail at 3842 Flatlands Ave LL1, Brooklyn, NY 11234, by phone at (718)-719-5980, or by email at info@thegoodenergygroup.com. This online privacy notice discloses Good Energy information practices for the Website, including what type of personal identifiable information is requested to provide its products and services, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.
    • Website Visits. In general, you can visit on the Website without disclosing any personal information. Good Energy collects certain information from Website visitors. This includes, but is not limited to, home server domain name, email address, type of computer and web browser, what pages visitor accessed, and limited information about search requests.
    • Website Transactions. At times, Good Energy will need personal information to provide its products or services. For example, to process an application, form, or other submission, Good Energy may need to know your name, mailing address, email address, and property information. Good Energy intends to inform you before collecting personal information. If you request not to be contact further, Good Energy will respect that preference.
    • Consent. By accessing and using the Website, you consent to the collection, use, disclosure, storage, and processing of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
    • Changes to Privacy Policy. Good Energy may amend or update this Privacy Policy, from time to time, with or without direct notice to you. You agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy that is in effect at the time of access and use of the Website, or other disclosure to Good Energy.
  • Personal Information That May Be Collected.
    • Identifying Information. You may be required to provide certain personal information to Good Energy when you elect to use certain products or services available on the site, such as your name, postal address, email address, date of birth, registering an account, telephone number, payment information. Good Energy may request additional information necessary to establish and maintain an account.
    • Information From Children. Good Energy does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen, without the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
    • Links to Other Websites. The Website may contain links to other websites. Good Energy is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other websites.
  • Uses Made of the Information.
    • Use of Personal Information. Good Energy collects and uses personal information to better operate its Website and to deliver requested products and services.
    • Marketing Uses. Good Energy may use personal information to inform you of other products or services available from Good Energy or its affiliates, and related information in which you have indicated an interest.
    • Stored Information. Good Energy may store and retain information provided by you or entered on the Website.
    • Online Advertising.  Some companies that help Good Energy deliver interactive online advertising, may collect and use information about you to help Good Energy better understand the types of advertising or promotions that are most appealing or applicable. After it is collected the information is aggregated so it is not identifiable to a specific individual.
  • Disclosure of the Information.
    • Use of Information.  The personal information you provide us will be used in relation to the products or services provided by Good Energy.
    • Within Corporate Organization. Good Energy may share your personal information within the Good Energy corporate organization, including its affiliates and partners. Good Energy may transfer the information to other jurisdictions where Good Energy conducts business, which jurisdictions may provide less legal protection for your personal information.
    • Mergers and Acquisitions. For the purpose of developing and expanding its business, Good Energy may share, rent, sell, or buy business assets. In such transactions, your information is generally one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event Good Energy is acquired, your information will be one of the transferred assets.
    • Agents. Good Energy employs or engages other companies and individuals to perform business functions on behalf of Good Energy (“Agents”). These Agents are provided with personal identifying information required to perform their functions.
    • Disclosure to Third Parties. Good Energy may share  personal information with third parties for marketing analysis or about a particular offering that may be of interest to you.

Good Energy may release personal identifying information when Good Energy reasonably believes release is appropriate to comply with law, to enforce its agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of its users. Good Energy may also release such information in an exchange of information with other companies and/or organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
    • Use of Tracking Information. The Website is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. The website logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.
    • Use of Cookies. A cookie is a small piece of data that is stored on your computer or mobile device. Like many websites, Good Energy may use cookies or similar technologies to analyze website traffic and usage, customize user experience, and track effectiveness of marketing.     • Do Not Track Signals. Some web browsers may transmit “Do Not Track” signals to websites. At this time, the Website does not respond to such signals. However, you may use your browser settings to control cookie behavior and limit certain forms of tracking.
    • Non-Identifiable Information.  Good Energy collects non-identifiable information from user visits to the Website in order to provide better customer service. Examples of such information include traffic analysis, tracking of the domains from which users visit, or tracking numbers of visitors, measuring visitor activity on the Website, Website and system administration; user analysis, and business decision making. Such information is sometimes known as “clickstream data.” Good Energy or its contractors may use this data to analyze trends and statistics.
    • Collection of Personal Information. Good Energy collects personal identifying information from you during a transaction. Good Energy may extract some personally identifying information about that transaction in a non-identifiable format and combine it with other non-identifiable information, such as clickstream data. This information is used and analyzed only at an aggregate level (not at an individual level) to help Good Energy understand trends and patterns. This information is not reviewed at an individual level.
  • Information Security.
    • Commitment to Online Security.  Good Energy intends to protect your personal information. Good Energy implements appropriate measures and processes when transmitting certain sensitive information.
    • No Liability for Acts of Third Parties. Good Energy will exercise all reasonable efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information. However, transmissions protected by industry standard security technology and implemented by human beings cannot be made absolutely secure. Consequently, Good Energy shall not be liable for unauthorized disclosure of personal information due to no fault of Good Energy including, but not limited to, errors in transmission and unauthorized acts of Good Energy staff and/or third parties.
    • Retention.  Good Energy may hold your personal information only for as long as it is lawful and necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the data was collected, or until you request that we permanently delete it.
    • Safeguards. We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information.
  • Access Rights to Data.
    • Information Maintained.  Upon your request, Good Energy will provide you with a reasonable description of your personally identifiable information that Good Energy maintains.
    • Corrections and Changes to Personal Information. If your personal information changes, or if you note an error upon review of your information that Good Energy has on file, please promptly email Good Energy at info@thegoodenergygroup.com and provide the new or correct information.
    • California Privacy Rights. Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits users of Good Energy who are California residents to request certain information regarding Good Energy’s disclosure of personal information for their direct marketing purposes, and the right to know what data is collected, the right to access or delete data, the right to opt-out of sale of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination. To make such a request, please write to: Ruben and info@thegoodenergygroup.com. Within 30 days of receiving such a request, Good Energy will provide a list of the categories of personal information disclosed to third parties for third-party direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year, along with the names and addresses of these third parties. This request may be made no more than once per calendar year. Good Energy reserves its right not to respond to requests submitted other than to the address specified in this paragraph.
    • California’s privacy laws require businesses to inform California users of their rights, including the right to request information about which third parties their personal information has been shared with for marketing purposes.
